About Us

In partnership since 1990 Dianne Britton and Graeme Storey work across the U.K. for public and private collections either on-site or at our purpose built studios. We pride ourselves in building long standing relationships with our clients, many of whom have been with us for over two decades, and in this time we have built a reputation for completing projects to a very high standard on time and on budget. Whilst we have many institutional clients with large and extensive collections we also welcome individuals with perhaps only one painting or drawing which needs attention.

Dianne Britton is a specialist oil painting conservator, she qualified in 1984 and became an accredited conservator in 2000 with the introduction of the ICON (Institute of Conservation) Accredited Conservator Scheme.

Graeme Storey is a specialist paper conservator, he qualified in 1981 and also became an accredited conservator in 2000 with the introduction of the ICON Accredited Conservator Scheme. In addition to his conservation work Graeme continues to lecture to museum professionals and a wider public on the care and preservation of works of art.

We take security very seriously and our studios are fully alarmed with 24 hour monitoring and have been inspected by our regular institutional clients.

Our clients include: The National Trust, The Council for the Care of Churches, CyMal, The Elgar Birthplace Trust, English Heritage, The Lowry, The Grosvenor Museum, The University of Liverpool, The University of Manchester, Tate Liverpool and numerous large privately owned stately homes including The Grosvenor Estates and The Northumberland Estates.
